Fleet Management is illuminating Anchor Plaza in Hong Kong in blue this World Maritime Day, in partnership with the Hong Kong Maritime Museum. The initiative joins the International Maritime Organization's Light It Up Blue campaign, marking the global maritime community's commitment to turning policy into practice.
Maritime landmarks around the world, from International Maritime Organization (IMO) Member States to partner organisations, will be bathed in blue on the evening of 24 September, alongside Anchor Plaza in Hong Kong.
World Maritime Day is an annual United Nations observance led by the IMO, recognising the role of international shipping in global trade and the work of the seafarers who keep it moving. This year's theme calls on the maritime industry to turn international policy and frameworks into consistent, everyday practice.

Every safe voyage and every responsible operation helps keep goods, businesses and economies moving around the world. Behind that work are millions of maritime professionals, including the more than 1,200 maritime companies that form Hong Kong's maritime cluster. The day recognises the people behind global shipping and the role they play in keeping global trade moving.
Few places are more closely connected to shipping than Hong Kong. For generations, the city has served as a gateway for international trade and one of the world's leading maritime centres, bringing together shipowners, operators, financiers, insurers, legal professionals and maritime service providers. Located on the waterfront of Victoria Harbour, Anchor Plaza sits at the centre of that maritime community.
Anchor Plaza sits beside the Hong Kong Maritime Museum on the Victoria Harbour waterfront. It takes its name from the anchor at its centre, the anchor of Seawise Giant, the largest vessel ever to sail, set alongside a pavilion whose triangular profile draws on the form of traditional ships and waves.
Headquartered in Hong Kong, Fleet Management manages vessels and operations worldwide, making the landmark a fitting location to participate in a global observance recognising the maritime industry.
