Care 360 is Fleet Management’s integrated wellbeing framework for seafarers and their families. It brings physical, mental, emotional, social, family and financial support into one clear, practical resource.

We developed Care 360 through close collaboration between Fleet Care, the Quality Catering Division (QCD) and the Fleet Personnel Department (FPD). It reflects a simple belief. When seafarers are supported in mind and body, they perform better at sea. This helps us deliver safe, reliable operations for our customers.
Why Care 360 Matters
Life at sea is a unique and rewarding profession. It calls for focus, skill and support, both onboard and at home. Long voyages, close teamwork and time away from family create a way of life that seafarers and their families learn to manage together.
Families play an important role in this journey. Staying connected, informed and supported helps maintain confidence and peace of mind while seafarers are at sea.
Seafarers also benefit from clear, accessible guidance on key processes that support their readiness for service. This includes medical fitness requirements, declarations, psychometric assessments, insurance support and recovery pathways.
Care 360 brings this information together. It makes it easier to understand the available support, access the right channels, and to stay prepared at every stage of a seafarer’s career.
A 360 Degree Solution
Care 360 brings our wellbeing initiatives together under five pillars. These are Physical, Mental and Emotional, Social and Spiritual, Family, and Financial.
Each pillar covers practical topics such as nutrition, fatigue management, psychological support, family engagement, financial literacy, inclusive workplaces and skill development.
What makes Care 360 useful is its design. It connects onboard needs with shore-based support. It signposts the right channels and programmes, so seafarers and their families can find help quickly and understand what to do next.
“Care 360 reflects our commitment to care for the whole seafarer, not just the role they perform onboard. We know that life at sea brings pressure, and that support must be clear, accessible and consistent for both our seafarers and their families.”
said Capt. Somasundar Nair, Executive Director, Fleet Personnel Department.
Closing the Information Gap
Care 360 gives seafarers a single, structured guide to available support. It explains what is available, who to contact and how key processes work. It brings clarity across areas such as wellbeing, welfare and crisis response.
With clearer support across health, family engagement, crisis management, training and development, seafarers can perform at their best over the long term. This supports safer operations, steady morale and more consistent performance onboard.
For families, Care 360 offers reassurance. Clear information and open communication help build trust. Programmes such as Tea Talks with Fleet and Fleet Family Support Groups help families stay connected and supported.
