Colleagues joined over 2,700 members and guests at the Singapore Shipping Association’s 41st Anniversary Gala Dinner, the association’s largest gala to date. Maritime Leadership Icon Award | Malaysia

Capt. Raja Subramaniam, CEO of Fleet Management, received the Maritime Leadership Icon Award at Malaysia Maritime Week 2026. Presented during the Ministry of Transport Malaysia’s maritime industry awards, the honour recognised his contributions to the maritime industry.

Shenzhen International Maritime Training Centre | Shenzhen

Capt. Raja Subramaniam, CEO, and Capt. Somasundar Nair, Executive Director, FPD, attended the opening of the Shenzhen International Maritime Training Centre (SIMTC) and its inaugural International Maritime Training Seminar. They toured the new facilities and met the teams behind its training programmes. Capt. Soma also participated in a panel discussion on maritime talent development and leadership.

Fleet Management participated in the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Career Fair, connecting with prospective graduates and highlighting opportunities within its technical teams. A dedicated campaign page drew around 1,000 visits in its first week, while candidate tracking helped the team identify and engage potential future talent.

Capt. Vinod Suryavanshi, Senior Manager of Training at the Fleet Management Training Institute, participated in the Habits of Highly Effective Maritime Teachers programme in India.
