Asia Pacific Maritime Conference, Singapore

Pankaj Singhal, Executive Director, Containers, represented Fleet Management at Asia Pacific Maritime Conference 2026, joining a panel on scaling methanol in shipping. The discussion explored operational lessons from early methanol-fuelled vessels, regulatory developments and the importance of fuel availability, infrastructure and collaboration in supporting a safe and scalable transition.

Tanker Operator Safety Conference, Shenzhen

Capt. Kuldeepak Sethi, General Manager, QHSE, and Capt. Sushant Bhatia, Assistant General Manager, Fleet Personnel Department, represented Fleet at the Tanker Operator Safety Conference 2026. Their presentation explored crew competence and safety culture, underlining the role of leadership behaviour and accountability in supporting learning-led, sustainable onboard safety performance. Capt. Ajit Natu and Capt. Kunal Kumar were also in attendance.

Green Methanol Production Visit, Zhanjiang

Prakash Chandra, Director, Gas SME, joined a Hong Kong SAR Government-led delegation to visit a commercial-scale bio-methanol production facility. The visit strengthened dialogue across the green fuel value chain and explored opportunities to connect South China production with Hong Kong’s ambition to develop as a regional green maritime fuel hub.

Capt. Randhir Mahadik, General Manager, Fleet Personnel Department, represented Fleet Management at the Directorate General of Shipping’s Fleet Safety Review conclave.
