The ‘Outstanding Performance Award in Port State Control Inspection 2025’ from the Hong Kong Marine Department and Hong Kong Shipowners Association recognises exceptional inspection performance and consistent operational standards.

Presented at the 2026 Joint Luncheon and Award Presentation Ceremony, co-organised by the Hong Kong Marine Department and the Hong Kong Shipowners Association, the award recognises ship management companies that have delivered outstanding results in Port State Control inspections. Capt. Raja Subramaniam, Chief Executive Officer, received the award on behalf of Fleet Management.

This recognition reflects the steady work of our seafarers and onshore teams in maintaining safe, compliant and well-prepared vessels. It also highlights the value of consistent follow-through, strong leadership onboard, and close coordination between ship and shore.

Strong, consistent compliance

The award follows a strong year of performance across our vessels. In the first half of 2025, Fleet Management recorded incident-free operations and Port State Control inspections without any detentions, including inspections with few deficiencies.

We sustained those standards through the second half of the year. This continued performance was made possible by the commitment of our Masters, seafarers and teams onshore, who worked together to uphold high standards of safety, compliance and execution across all vessels.

Unrelenting focus on zero harm

Our focus on safe and reliable operations has also been recognised more widely. Fleet Management Limited and Fleet Ship Management Pte Ltd were named High Performing Operators by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority, with awards received in 2024 and 2025 respectively.

Together, these recognitions point to a consistent pattern of strong operational control, rigorous follow-up and disciplined maintenance. They also reinforce our commitment to regulatory compliance and safety leadership.

With a goal of Zero Harm, we continue to strengthen our systems, training and accountability so that seafarers, vessels and operations are protected at every stage of the voyage.

Awards such as this matter because they reflect the standards our people deliver every day. For our clients, that means reliable uptime, controlled risk and the confidence that their vessels are being cared for with discipline and attention.
