With a global pool of over 27,000+ seafarers, Fleet Management has a unique opportunity to identify, develop and grow its own talent over time, strengthening our leadership pipeline for the future.

The structured long-term talent development programme supports potential future leaders. It helps seafarers through key stages of their careers, from early development through to senior leadership readiness.  

A People-Centred Approach to Development

Led by our Fleet Personnel Department (FPD), Fleet Frontrunners is a development programme designed to identify high potential, entry-level talent and provide a clear, long-term pathway for building Fleet Management’s future leaders. It focuses on developing technical competence, strengthening leadership capability and creating a high-quality talent pool aligned with Fleet Management’s values and operational standards.

Working closely with onboard teams, FPD plays a central role in guiding, mentoring and providing tailored training at key career stages, helping participants build capability, confidence and long-term readiness for leadership roles.
