++++DRILL! DRILL! DRILL!The owners and manager of the 2019 built oil tanker SAMC SWAN (IMO 9813058) confirm that the vessel was attacked at approximately 1600 HKT on 20thNovember when the 8708-dwt vessel was on passage in the Southern Red Sea region.

All non essential crew promptly mustered in the ships citadel. Anti-piracy procedures were immediately carried out.

All relevant authorities including the UKMTO and IMB Piracy Centre have been informed. Fleet has assembled its emergency response team and is taking all measures to safeguard the crew.
